Many of the opportunities we provide help you to earn more money. But what is the point if your personal life is not enjoyable?

Our web site would not be complete without a few pointers to help you improve your personal life.

Personal Life Opportunities

This is a very big subject and we can do little more than categorize and make suggestions in the space available. You may want to:-

We will try to cater for a wide range of needs but if you feel left out or can make further suggestions please let us know.
See also Self-Improvement particularly if you are shy or lack confidence.

meet more people

You may want to learn more social skills or change yourself in some way. Perhaps you want to change your lifestyle to meet a different circle of people. Try joining a local club that involves something of interest to you.

In an extreme case you may want to change your career to meet a different 'class' of people. Check these pages:-

go out and have fun

The list above also applies here. Yes you can have a lot of fun Volunteering, particularly with the sponsorship side of things, you could be sponsored to do sky-diving for example.
You could also consider getting a job in the entertainment or travel industries.

see the world

The obvious choice here is the Travel option. You might also want to consider learning a language or two at a local night-school, it will give you a chance to meet other people, some of which might want to join you on your travels.

emigrate

First look at Margarita but if Margarita is not for you then there are many other places. But there are certain things to consider:-

meeting a partner

This is largely covered under 'meet more people' but in addition you need to meet someone with something in common. It is often said that opposites attract but attraction and a long-term relationship are two different things and a novelty can soon wear off.

A lover really needs to be a friend as well. To find someone with the same interests as you, look for someone that likes to do the same things and goes to the same places as you. Fairly obvious you might say, but if you don't make a point of finding the time to do the things you enjoy then you won't meet others that enjoy the same things.

get married

Before getting married, it is best to know the other person well. Without wishing to get into a debate over religion or morals, you really need to live with the other person for a while before committing to marriage otherwise there may be unpleasant surprises after it is too late!

The incidence of divorce is growing alarmingly and unless you want to add to the statistics make sure that you both want it and both know what you are getting into.
A broken marriage is not a laughing matter, it can be very expensive and if there are children involved it can be very traumatic for all concerned.

The communal house will probably have to be sold, there may be disputes over custody arrangements and long term maintenance to pay, not to mention battles with the CSA!

There are agencies that try to find marriage partners but be careful, don't marry someone that is only doing it because:-

  1. They need a 'stamp of patriality in their passport' to stay in your country.
  2. They want to get away from living with their parents.
  3. They want someone to pay for their every need in the future with little in return.
  4. They want your money.

Marriages in these circumstances can work, people can grow to love each other, just as with an arranged marriage, but the odds are stacked against it and it should not be your first choice. If we have not put you off though, look at these:-

get divorced

You may already be in a marriage that you want to end. There are various marriage counseling services and reconciliation steps that can be made, but if it is not going to work then you need to cut your losses and end it as quickly and painlessly as possible for all concerned.

Above all do not make the mistake of 'staying together for the sake of the children' it is NOT the best thing for them! Staying in a stressful environment full of anger, resentment, tension and even violence has a lasting impact on a child and they will not thank you for it.

It will influence your children's outlook on any future relationships they may have. If you want to do something for the sake of the children, then do things amicably so that both parties can co-operate over seeing the children in the future.

Do you love your job?

If you don't and you don't like the people you work with either, consider changing your job, don't get stuck in a rut. It will be a lot easier to change now than after you have been doing the job you hate for 20 years or more.

It is also easier to do before you have many financial commitments. Decide what kind of job you really want to do and go for it.

If you need more training or education then get it, you'll be glad you did later.
Consider also starting your own business. It may seem a daunting prospect at first but there is a lot of help available, it doesn't have to cost a lot to start, you can often get things going in your spare time and the results can be an enjoyable affluent and flexible lifestyle.
